Yes. As the business owner or an administrator, you can remove one or more customers from **Customers** in the [FaveCard dashboard](https://admin.favecard.co/customers). This is available on every plan.

Removal takes the customer off your business's active customer list and stops them collecting new stamps. You can restore them later.

## What happens when you remove a customer?

- The customer moves to the **Removed** filter for your business. Their relationship with another business is unaffected.
- Their cards, existing stamps, earned rewards and history stay saved. Earned rewards can still be redeemed.
- Their card stays in their phone's wallet and can still be opened in a browser. Removing or restoring the customer does not change the card's appearance or send a removal notification.
- New stamps are refused until you restore the customer, including through self-service stamping or a kiosk.
- FaveCard skips removed customers when delivering campaigns and tries to cancel scheduled customer emails. A message already being sent may still arrive, and an earlier banner may remain on the card.

**This is not permanent deletion of personal data.** For a request to erase personal data, contact support from the dashboard. This action also does not delete an employee login or your business account.

## Remove one or several customers

1. Open the dashboard and go to **Customers**.
2. Tick the box next to each customer you want to remove.
3. Choose **Remove customer** for one person or **Remove selected** for several. On a narrow screen, open **Actions** to find the option.
4. Check the selected person or total in the confirmation window, read what will happen, then choose **Remove**.

You can also open a customer's profile, select the three-dot menu next to their name, and choose **Remove customer**.

Before confirming a group, check the selection count: changing a search can keep previously selected customers. If only some removals succeed, choose **Retry remaining**. Customers already removed stay removed; closing the window does not undo those successes.

## Restore a customer

1. Go to **Customers** and change **All customers** to **Removed** in the customer filter.
2. Open the customer's profile.
3. Choose **Restore customer**.

The customer returns to the active list with their existing cards, stamps, rewards and history. Restoring does not add a stamp; add it separately if due. Restore each customer individually.

After restoration, eligible campaigns can reach them again, including a campaign queued before removal. Their marketing consent is unchanged. Restoring a customer does not reactivate a retired card.

## What happens when their card is scanned?

The QR code still identifies the card. Scanning alone does not add a stamp, and a removed customer cannot earn another stamp.

If the FaveCard mobile app shows **Customer removed**, staff can use **Restore customer**, then add the stamp separately. Older app versions may show an ordinary card screen and a general error when adding a stamp. In that case, restore the customer in the dashboard. Update the app when a version with the removal notice is available. Customer removal itself is done in the dashboard.

## Can I remove test customers to start again?

Yes, to tidy your active customer list. Removal does not reset stamps, erase visit history, reset the issued-card count, or unlock reward settings on an existing card. For different stamp or reward rules, create a new card.

Removal is also not a permanent ban on signing up again. A new card for the same customer does not automatically restore their removed relationship with your business.
