Collect more than the basics
The extra details you can collect on your signup form, and why they help.
Your loyalty card already collects the basics: first name, email, and an optional birthday. But the best shopkeepers remember more: the usual order, the name behind the face, the dates that matter. FaveCard lets you collect those details on your signup form, so every regular feels recognised.
What you can collect
- Phone: reach your regulars directly and recognise them by number.
- Last name: greet people by their full name.
- Anniversary: mark special dates. A favourite for restaurants and spas.
- Favorite drink and favorite dish: so anyone at the counter can offer a regular their usual.
- Your own custom fields: collect anything that matters in your shop, such as allergies, a preferred stylist, or the table by the window.
One rule of thumb
Ask only for what you will actually use. Every extra field is one more step between a customer and their card, so the shorter the form, the more people finish it. Start with one or two details that genuinely help you recognise regulars, and add more when you need them.
Good to know
First name and email are always collected, and birthday is optional. Phone, last name, and custom fields are part of the Business plan.
Next, see Add or change your signup form fields to set these up.
