Boomerangme vs FaveCard (2026): Which Loyalty App Fits a Small Business?

Boomerangme suits a business that wants many card types, SMS and email, POS integrations or up to 10 locations, from $199 a month ($164 billed annually) in US dollars. FaveCard suits a single shop wanting a digital stamp card: free to start, Apple and Google Wallet on paid plans, billing in euros, pounds or dollars, and EU hosting.

We make FaveCard.

How much does Boomerangme cost compared with FaveCard?

Boomerangme has three plans on its pricing page, all paid in US dollars with taxes on top (checked on 19 October 2026):

  • Business: $199 a month, $179 a month billed quarterly, or $164 a month billed annually.
  • Agency: $259 a month, $239 quarterly, or $214 annually, with white label and client sub-accounts.
  • Franchise: $299 a month, $269 quarterly, or $249 annually, for chains with a head office.

Each plan starts with a 14-day trial without a credit card, and an Enterprise plan is available through sales. A few other pages on Boomerangme's site still quote older figures ("from $99", "from $114", "$50 to $200"); its subscription agreement says the fees on the pricing page apply.

FaveCard has a free plan with no time limit, no credit card and no cap on customers: one stamp card, a card that opens in your customers' phone browser, and stamping with the FaveCard Biz app. The Pro plan adds Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes and your own branding; the Business plan adds Wallet push campaigns, birthday automation, Google review requests, kiosk mode, CSV export and staff accounts. FaveCard bills in euros, pounds or US dollars; current amounts are on our pricing page.

When to choose Boomerangme

Boomerangme does more than FaveCard in several areas, and for some businesses those are the deciding ones:

  • You want more than stamp cards. Boomerangme offers eight card types: stamps, points, cashback, prepaid visits, memberships (with Stripe renewals), gift cards, tiered discounts and one-off offer cards, plus a prize-wheel game. FaveCard runs stamp cards with several rewards on one card; it has no points, gift cards or memberships.
  • You need detailed stamp rules. Stamps per amount spent or per visit, happy hours, stamp expiry, welcome and birthday stamps, and daily limits are all settings in its help centre.
  • You want SMS, email and more channels. On every plan you get unlimited Wallet push messages, location-based push on iPhone, automations (for example a next-visit reminder or a birthday message), a referral programme and customer segments, and you can send SMS and email through your own Twilio and Mailgun or SendGrid accounts. FaveCard sends Wallet push campaigns and birthday messages on its Business plan, and has no SMS or email campaigns.
  • You run a POS or other software that should talk to your loyalty card. Boomerangme lists integrations with Square, Shopify, Toast and Lightspeed X-Series for retail, among others, plus a public API, webhooks, Zapier and Make. FaveCard has none of these today.
  • You have several locations or franchisees. Business includes up to 10 locations, and the Franchise plan adds a head-office view and rewards redeemable across locations. FaveCard runs one location per account.
  • Your team needs many logins. Every Boomerangme plan has 50 manager seats with their own permissions. FaveCard's Free and Pro plans are owner only; staff accounts come with the Business plan.
  • You are an agency. White label, a reseller dashboard, client sub-accounts and a Stripe or PayPal connection are on the Agency plan. FaveCard has no agency offer.
  • You are moving from another loyalty tool. Boomerangme imports customers with their existing balances from a CSV file; FaveCard has no import.
  • You need a language FaveCard does not have, such as Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean or Chinese: all are in Boomerangme's published list of 33.

When FaveCard is the better fit

1. You want to start without a monthly fee

FaveCard's free plan has no time limit and no customer cap, so a single shop can run a digital stamp card for nothing. Boomerangme has no free plan; its lowest price is $164 a month, billed annually. On FaveCard's free plan the card opens in the customer's browser; Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes start on Pro.

The FaveCard page where a customer joins an example café's card on their phone: they enter an email, a first name and an optional birthday, can tick to receive offers, and tap Get your card. There is no app to download.

2. You pay in euros or pounds

FaveCard bills in euros, pounds or US dollars, and EU prices are shown without VAT. Boomerangme bills only in US dollars, with taxes on top, so an owner in Europe or the UK pays in a foreign currency.

3. You want your customers' data in the EU

FaveCard is hosted in the EU on Google Cloud (Netherlands and Belgium), and its data processing agreement is published and accepted when you sign up. Boomerangme sends a DPA on request; its subprocessor list names hosting in the US and Germany, and its privacy policy says data is transferred to and stored in the US.

4. Your staff stamp with a native app

FaveCard Biz is a native app for iOS and Android that scans the customer's card at the counter. Boomerangme's scanner is a web app that runs in any browser, which some owners prefer because there is nothing to install.

5. You run your shop in Finnish, Greek, Hungarian or Ukrainian

FaveCard's dashboard, staff app, emails and Wallet passes run in 19 languages, including those four, which are not in Boomerangme's published language list (checked on 17 October 2026; another Boomerangme page claims 44 languages without listing them).

6. You want campaigns and a kiosk without integrations

On the Business plan, FaveCard sends Wallet push campaigns from ready-made templates, such as a win-back message to customers who have not been in for a while, and lets customers stamp themselves on an iPad in kiosk mode by scanning a QR code. Boomerangme has push campaigns and a kiosk mode on every plan, with more automation options.

A FaveCard Wallet push message on an iPhone lock screen from an example barbershop: Been a while, come in this week and we'll sort you out. FaveCard kiosk mode on an iPad at an example nail salon: an offer for new autumn shades above a QR code customers scan to join and get a stamp, with a countdown to its next refresh.

Is Boomerangme too much for one café or salon?

That depends on what you will use. Boomerangme's entry plan includes 10 locations, 50 staff seats, eight card types, 10 promotions running at once, integrations and an API, for $164 to $199 a month. A café with one location and one stamp card would use a part of that; a café that wants points, SMS, a POS link or a second site would use more. FaveCard covers one location with stamp cards, and adds campaigns, reviews and staff accounts on its Business plan.

For salons, neither tool is booking software. Boomerangme connects to the booking system Altegio; FaveCard runs next to whatever booking tool you use, without a connection. If you already book in Fresha, its own loyalty add-on (points and tiers, shown in the Fresha app) may be enough.

Boomerangme alternatives, by need

Prices as shown on each company's own pricing page on 18 October 2026, entry plan, billed monthly:

  • Loopy Loyalty: the closest like-for-like option, with Apple and Google Wallet stamp cards, unlimited push messages, an API and Zapier on every plan, and 1 to 10 locations. From $25 a month after a 15-day trial (Loopy's pricing). Best for a stamp card in Wallet with integrations.
  • BonusQR: a free plan that includes Apple and Google Wallet and several reward types; paid plans from €19 a month (BonusQR's pricing). Best for a free Wallet card with more reward types than stamps.
  • Stamp Me: stamp cards inside the Stamp Me app, with tap-to-stamp tags on every plan and games and a countertop stamp pod on higher plans. From $49 a month in the US (€29 in the EU, £39 in the UK) after a 30-day trial (Stamp Me's pricing). Best for businesses whose customers already use the Stamp Me app.
  • Square Loyalty: points at the Square checkout, with an Apple Wallet pass, included in Square Plus at $49 a month per location in the US (Square's pricing). Best if you already take payments with Square.
  • Fresha: a booking system for salons with a paid loyalty add-on (points and up to five tiers), priced per location by country (Fresha's loyalty help). Best for salons that already book in Fresha.
  • FaveCard: a digital stamp card with a free plan, Apple and Google Wallet on paid plans, campaigns and staff accounts on Business, hosted in the EU. Best for one shop that wants to start free.

How to switch from Boomerangme to FaveCard (and back)

  1. Export your data from Boomerangme before you cancel: customers, cards and transactions download as CSV files from its CRM. Its subscription agreement gives you 30 days after the end of the subscription to download your data.
  2. Create your FaveCard card with the same rewards, so regulars recognise it.
  3. Invite your customers with a QR code at the counter or a link in your last Boomerangme push message. They join with their email and first name, with no app to download.
  4. Honour old balances at the counter. FaveCard has no import, so stamps do not carry over automatically; give returning customers the stamps they had, or a welcome reward.
  5. Cancel Boomerangme in its dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period, and its cancellation policy does not refund partial periods.

Going the other way is easier on balances: Boomerangme imports customers with their stamp or point balances from a CSV file, up to 20,000 per file, and FaveCard exports your customers as CSV on the Business plan.

Boomerangme had a free Start plan in 2021 (archived copy of its pricing page); it is no longer offered. FaveCard has a free plan with no time limit and no credit card.

Do my customers need to download an app with Boomerangme or FaveCard?

No, with either. Boomerangme customers add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or install it as a web-app card. FaveCard customers join with their email and first name and add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on paid plans; on FaveCard's Free plan the card opens in the phone's browser.

How do staff add stamps in Boomerangme and FaveCard?

Boomerangme staff use its Scanner App, a web app that runs in any browser, with 50 manager seats on every plan. FaveCard staff scan the customer's card with the FaveCard Biz app for iOS and Android; on the Free and Pro plans only the owner stamps, and staff accounts come with the Business plan. Both have a kiosk mode for the counter (FaveCard: Business plan).

Does Boomerangme or FaveCard work with my POS, Zapier or an API?

Boomerangme does: it lists integrations with Square, Shopify, Toast (which needs Toast's own integrations package) and Lightspeed X-Series for retail, plus a public API, webhooks, Zapier and Make. FaveCard has no POS integration, public API or Zapier connection today; it runs next to any till, or without one.

Which languages do Boomerangme and FaveCard support?

Boomerangme's help centre lists 33 languages for its cards, including Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese and Korean but not Finnish; another of its pages claims 44 without a list. FaveCard runs its dashboard, staff app, emails and Wallet passes in 19 languages, including Finnish, Greek, Hungarian and Ukrainian, and the page where customers join in 32.

Are Boomerangme and FaveCard GDPR compliant, and where is the data stored?

Boomerangme says it is GDPR compliant, sends a data processing agreement (DPA) on request, and lists hosting with DigitalOcean in the US and Germany and Hetzner in Germany; its privacy policy says data is transferred to and stored in the US. FaveCard is hosted in the EU (Google Cloud in the Netherlands and Belgium), and its DPA is published and accepted at signup.

Can I cancel Boomerangme or FaveCard and get a refund?

Both renew automatically and let you cancel at any time, with the cancellation taking effect at the end of the billing period. Boomerangme's cancellation policy (updated 30 September 2026) says all purchases are final, with full refunds only for a duplicate charge, a renewal charged after you cancelled, or a charge made in error. FaveCard's terms say fees are non-refundable except where the law requires, with no pro-rated refund.

Can I move my customers and stamps from Boomerangme to FaveCard?

Your customers, yes; their stamp balances, not automatically. Boomerangme exports customers, cards and transactions as CSV files. FaveCard has no import, so customers re-join your FaveCard card with a QR code or link, and you honour old balances at the counter. Moving the other way, Boomerangme imports customers with their balances from a CSV file (up to 20,000 per file).
